1st Interview since graduated~ Cabin Crew

well, I was eager to go for a cabin crew interview after i heard from my aunt on the vacancy posted in
the newspaper-FIREFLY..
but then i feel so excited yet worried..
bcz i duno how izit going to be..
but for sure i noe it will be a group interview.

i was a bit ready yet not..
until the morning i wake up..
i felt like giving up..=( bcz i'm too scared..
but at the end...
i went..accompany by my mum..=)
note to myself: jz take it as an experience n a preparation for upcoming interview..
(i noe for sure i wont be able to get this job, instinct..hmm..)

i plan to go for the interview in the morning 830am..
but i tot it will be a lot of ppl during dat time,
so i tk my time 10am only on my way to Vistana Hotel.
bcz da interview ends at 12pm.

i reach there almost 11am.
to my surprise..not much ppl were there..
but i saw other ppl accompany their friends as well,
some with their family.

when i reach there..
i pass up my resume n transcript and also my photo as required by them.
den i was cal to be sitted in a room with 1-2person inside..
to fill up a form, i am number 65 as stated in the form...
while filing up the form, 1 girl walk up n sit in front of me asking me is this my 1st time here..
of cz i replied yes.. n we started chatting.. she is friendly~~=)
later on another girl walk in..
she looks quite pretty~ n seems to have a lot of experience..

we talk for a while asking each other where we are from..
unexpectedly, those 2 i meet were out from town..
1 Ipoh the other Sarawak~~
later on i pass up my form,
n was ask to measure my height n weight..( the receptionist were not that friendly..=.=)
no smile..ugh.. i tot ppl working in an airline company shld be friendly person..
well, i try to smile n being very friendly to others i saw...
bcz cabin crew need to be those kind of friendly happy ppl...
after measuring height n weight, i was ask to sit into that room again..
bcz the receptionist say it wil be more comfortable..

after a while, i was ask to sit outside to wait for my turn to be interview..
together with my new meet friends.
later on i was ask to tuck in my blouse into my skirt by the Firefly receptionist
(she was ok, i think she is trying to help me, mayb we are Chinese? hmm, or bcz i look so untidy..lolz)..

after a while, 5 of us were ask to go into a room to be interview by 3 judges, 1 women n 2 fat guys..=.=
(the women looks friendly, but the 2 fat guys face were hmm...not so friendly, might be tired interviewing so many ppl)
i was the 1st one..Orz
i duno y i got the guts to be the 1st...n it sux..
after going into the room of interviewee..
i sit down immediately so as the other four..
but immediately again the judge cal us to stand up n cal us to give a cat walk around the room..=.=||
i din quite expect that...
so i took the lead to walk 1st..
very uncomfortable..
bcz my blouse were kinda short to be tuck in, it keep pull out n i keep using my finger to try
tuck in while walking..( i actually know it looks ugly like dat, but wth..i dun care..simply bcz i do this to calm myself down)

later we were ask to stand in front of the judges..
calling us to take out both our hands..
after i heard the instruction i was kinda quick to react..
da women judge seems surprise n say.."Oh how u know what to do, u been interview b4?"
i  was surprise with what she said yet I smile and answered" erm, NO"..lolz
I actually OSed: huh? u ask me to do so 1 ma! so weird" ZZzz...
after checking both hands front n back, they cal us to turn back so dat they could check our neck..
(i've done research abt this, which cabin crew actually require no scar, marks, tattoo on either hands and neck)
might be they need cabin crew to have clean images..i think( for every airline)

after finish checking..
they started to ask question~
1. introduce yourself
2. y u choose to work in Firefly and not others.
3. Y u wan to be a cabin crew.

starting from me.. n i was SUPER DUPER NERVOUS n unprepared until my head is blank..
i calmly introduce myself at start.. when is start to speak, dey suddenly say PLS SPEAK Louder..
i was shock..bcz of my nervousness yet stil able to speak... but a very brief and short 1..
i skip my strength n weakness..
bcz dey din ask..but i know that i shld... jz dat my head is blank..WTF..

den i answered y i wan to be a cabin crew..
i saw some tips on9 b4 dat n dey say u cant say becz u like to travel!
(simply bcz they expect u to work for them n not used/expect them to provide u free flight for travelling)
when i get nervous i cant seem to put words into a good sentences..DARN. n i keep repeating the word CUSTOMer service..adui..@@
i jz keep blabbing n repeating what i said...

after using English to answer my question..
they require me to answer them in MALAY for the last 2 question...
i OSed..SHIT! (i understand the question in Malay, but seemingly i din quite prepared using Malay to answer
my question, my head went again TOTALLY BLANK!)
I was choking with my own words, mixing a bit of malay with lots of english word..
again I OSed-great..i blew it! (anyway, they only require us Chinese to answer in Malay, bcz Firefly actually fly around Msia, Spore, Thailand, Indonesia)

Its kinda racist, but come to think of it, Malay ppl of cz have the advantage to speak fluent Malay as we chinese mostly speak in Mandarin.. n the judges are M, dun expect them to understand Mandarin, n adding that they fly mostly around Msia/southeast asia more than international countries, so the knowledge of Malay language is much compulsory.

anyway, I feel that i'm very funny, while answer the question in Malay,

I answer "kerana (bcz) Firefly hanya(only) ada(have) Malaysian..(WTF i sumhow know n dunno what the hell i'm saying..Zzz..) the judges EYES poop then frown asking me, R U sure?.. then i quickly answered ah, No of course ada.......(few seconds pause)..whole room were quiet.. then i bla out a word..FOREIGNER juga(also)...=.= (correction shld be ada penumpang negara asing)....erm, really LOLZ..

MY answer is super short bcz my brain is really blank like a crystal clear white paper...=.=

the judges were shock i think, bcz they ask me do i have more to say? i say no dats all...Orz

n i dun think they catch anything i say...bcz my sentence n grammar, words were messy x100 times.

then later i heard others answering so well..haiz.. bcz they actually have working experience already, 1 is in the airport, 2 is customer service in Hotels. Only 2 of us Chinese are fresh graduate n student.

but i try to smile all the way, bcz altho i BLEW it..but at least i tried..XD

after finish all 5.. they ask us to wait outside to see who is going for round 2..

i noe i wont be in, as expected only 1 of  5 went thru..

i actually expected who to go in.. which is one of my friend..from Sarawak..
i congratulate her n wish her luck for the 2nd round interview on the spot..
exchg number with another friend.. n dats it..

my 1st interview..haha...
at least i get to know new friends...
it was kinda fun..
n now i know how does a cabin crew interview is like..
a new experience...
hopefully this help me to overcome n know my weaknesses for upcoming job interview..=)
